If you say, “I feel
badly,” your grammar is
bad.
You wouldn’t feel sadly;
you’d say, “I feel sad.”
How you feel has no
object; no action takes
place,
Unless, after shaving,
you’re feeling your
face.
So, next time you’re
feeling, remember to
say,
“I feel bad,” and your
grammar won’t give you
away.
